VEHICLE History

1988 Toyota Land Cruiser HJ61 GX has one owner from new. Originally purchased at Blandy Toyota on Tenerife. Always kept in a garage. All original paint, motor and interior. It has been serviced at the Toyota dealership throughout its life. Overall the vehicle is very clean. Never in an accident nor any noticeable damage to the body or chassis. The body is clean without rust although the factory paint shows defects. Only 159,910 kms with documentation.
MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION
“1HT” 4.0L turbo diesel mated to the “H55F”

INTERIOR

The interior of the HJ61 GX color is dark grey with light grey (off-white) seats. Seats for five, power windows, power door locks, air conditioning, pioneer cassette radio, tilting steering wheel, temperature and altimeter gauge, and locking glove box. The dash is complete with all the buttons and controls working properly and without damage or wear. The headliner is intact and clean. Clean carpets. No damage to any seats, driver seat is comfortable. Non smoking. All electronics work properly. AC is cold. Heater is hot.
EXTERIOR
Champagne factory paint with original decals with minimal wear. No rust present, no deep scratches, no dents, no sun damage. Original chrome roof rack. Five doors with split back lift-gate. Running boards for entry access. Rear bumper trailer hitch (NATO style ). Wipers and water sprayer function properly, front and back. Four new Bridgestone tires. Overall, a well kept Land Cruiser.

THE NEGATIVES

The original paint shows scratches, chips, and stains.
The decals show scratches.
The driver seat is lightly worn.
The rear gate upholstery is missing.
The air conditioning works but is not very cold.

ADDITIONAL SPECIFICS
The engine is the 1HT.
The front seats are equipped with shock absorbers.
No rust on any doors and no dents.
It looks like this vehicle has been used on off road trails but not abused – scratches but no dents.
The leaf springs, differentials and brush guard have minor surface oxidation.
The vehicle was first registered in 1988.

The upholstery needs cleaning on the roof liner and rear bed – normal for age and use.
